Pastor's Council Member, Jim Thurman.

Pastor Council Member, Jackie Swann. Jackie is a native of Bennettsville, South Carolina. He was born to Jack and Betty Jane Swann. He was raised in this church and has raised his own children in this church.

Jackie graduated from Bennettsville High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Francis Marion College and a Master in School Supervision and Administration from Winthrop University. Jackie has over twenty years of experience as an educator in the Marlboro County School District.

He is married to Amanda, a native of North Carolina, and have a daughter, Kelli Swann Dew (Joshua) who teaches 7th-grade math at McColl Elementary Middle School; a son, Jeffrey, who serves his country as a sailor in the U.S. Navy, and a stepdaughter, Jessica Bradley, who is a massage therapist at Advanced Wellness Center in Hartsville, SC.

Jackie is an active member of Bennettsville Church of God where he serves as the adult Sunday School teacher, musician, vocalist, and member of the Pastor’s Council. 

Pastor's Council Member, Miller Stickland. Miller Strickland and his wife Gearldean has been a member of the Bennettsville Church of Church since the early 70s. They raised their family in this church and Miller was the clerk for over 20 years. He still loves working in the church as Sunday School Secretary as well as serving on the Pastor's Council. Gearldean still makes all the beautiful flower arrangements for our grieving families.
